(Reuters) -Electric-vehicle maker Rivian Automotive Inc told staff that producing 62,000 units this year is possible, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Earlier this week, Rivian said it aimed to produce 50,000 cars this year, compared with analysts’ estimate of 67,170 units, according to Visible Alpha.
The company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
